Best Roller Coaster Ride to Date

Yesterday, I went to King's Island (in Cincinatti, Ohio) with my sister and family and rode the best roller coaster ever!  It's called the Diamondback.  Wow, what a rush in riding this thing!  I felt like a kid again (more on that later). You know a ride is good if it has its own website.  Check it out:

Diamondback is the tallest, fastest and meanest roller coaster to ever strike Kings Island.  Diamondback stands 230 feet at its highest point with a first drop of 215 feet at a 74 degree angle and snakes its way around 5,282 feet of track in excess of 80 miles per hour!  The ride features 10 vertical drops overall including drops of 193, 131, 129, 110 and 106 feet, two helixes – one at 323 degrees and the other at 287 degrees – and a spectacular splashdown ending.

BTW ... while I was at KI with my sister and fam, Jaime and the girls went to the Aquarium instead.  But I'm thinking next year they'll be ready -- not for the Diamondback, but for KI's Nickelodeon Universe.  It has been voted BEST KIDS AREA IN THE WORLD 8 years in a row!
