(Courier Journal - Tamara Ikenberg)
Set in modern-day San Francisco, "Lucy, Daughter of the Devil" is a pitchfork-perfect family sitcom with a touch of evil.
In the new cartoon by adult animation producer and writer Loren Bouchard, the devil wears Cosby sweaters and does karaoke, and Jesus (pronounced hay-sooss) is a creepy DJ. Lucy, the Antichrist, is a cute, disaffected redhead with no desire to usher in the apocalypse. Even so, she's being pursued by two clueless priests and a bloodthirsty nun.
The show premieres Sunday at 12:15 a.m. as part of the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming. LET'S PRAY THAT NO ONE WATCHES IT!
