Giving
God gives us the privilege of being used to advance His kingdom with the financial resources we have been given. God is on the move in Humboldt and around the world, and it is our joy to partner with him in the spread of the gospel.
The Bible talks a lot about money, about how it can become something that can grip our hearts and control us.
But it also talks about generosity.
It speaks of God’s generosity towards us and how that should motivate us to be generous toward others.
Our desire is not that you give to Oak Hill because you feel guilty or coerced into doing so, but because you love Jesus and support his mission of expanding his kingdom.
Paul says this in 2 Corinthians 9:7
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
If you are a guest, please let the plate pass you by. But if you are a regular attender, we would ask that you prayerfully consider how much God might be calling you to give to His mission here at Oak Hill.
There are several ways to give at Oak Hill:
Cash or Check
You can either drop it in the offering plate as it is passed during the Sunday service or mail a check directly to the church.

Text ‘GIVE’ to 515-368-8260
The simplest way to give if you have a cell phone is to give by text. Once you have it set up, you simply text an amount to this number and it is automatically taken out of your account.
With both electronic options, you can set it up to give automatically at whatever interval you would like. That way you know that even if you miss a Sunday in person, you will still keep up with your giving.

A word about online giving:
While you are able to use your credit card to give, we at Oak Hill Church encourage our members to live a debt free life whenever possible and to be good stewards of the resources God has given them. If you choose to give by credit card, we ask that you be sure that you have the money in your bank account to cover your gift.
Also, there is a small fee that is charged when you use online giving.
Credit OR debit card fee: 2.5% + $0.30 per gift
Direct ACH withdrawal: 0% + $0.50 per gift.
So that your money goes as far as possible, if you choose to use online giving, we encourage you to give directly from your checking account instead of through your credit or debit card.
